Digital Specialist 

Working as a Digital Specialist in Amsterdam you will be responsible for Grip’s digital growth, including strategy, execution, reporting, analysis, and optimization. We are obsessed with growth and we are looking for someone who feels the same way, someone who will take a creative approach to how they build a brand online and reach the right people, with the right message, at the right time. We also love the numbers and want someone who loves them too, using all available data to analyze performance, develop insights, and then act quickly to put them into action. We are passionate about what we have built and want someone who will bring that same passion to them every day.


• Aligning cross-departmentally on which metrics/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) Marketing should focus on.
• Development, execution, and optimization (including A/B testing) of digital efforts (paid and unpaid), including display advertising, mobile, SEM, SEO, as any non-traditional or new creative approaches aligned with Grip's goals
• Driving inbound traffic to a relevant Grip properties including the website, landing pages, social media, etc.
• Gathering all data, developed detailed dashboards, analyze data, and deliver recommendations based on the result
• Ensure digital design and implementation is optimized for branding, SEO, web development, etc.
• Assist in the coordination of the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases, and podcasts)
• Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase lead generation and profitability
• Integrate online activities with off-line marketing communications plans to ensure plans provide optimal business support
• Ensure digital design and implementation is optimized for branding, SEO, web development, etc.
• Monitor ROI and KPIs related to all digital efforts and make recommendations for improvement
• Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products, and services to online campaigns
• Stay up-to-date with digital media developments
• Maintain and update creative assets as needed


• Proven work experience as a Digital media specialist or Digital marketing specialist.
• Being data-driven with a clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics, and statistics
• Understanding of outbound/inbound marketing principles, preferably in a B2B or technology company
• A high level of experience with Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Advertising
• Experience working with media publications to create, negotiate, and execute digital campaigns
• Experience with content syndication as a tool to increase thought leadership
• Exceptional project management skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask, focus, lead, influence, and delegate
• Must have proven ability to translate insights into successful digital marketing programs and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to customers and prospects
• Experience with A/B Testing and Data Analytics.
• Being performance and results-oriented and relentless in pursuit of growth.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Degree in Marketing, Digital media, relevant field, or equivalent work experience
• Knowledgeable about referral marketing
